Talking about gas pipe line we have two types of manifold to install at any hotel or restaurant.

• L.O.T. GAS PIPELINE SYSTEM
• V.O.T. GAS PIPELINE SYSTEM

L.O.T. Gas pipeline system is better than V.O.T Gas pipeline system as it saves the gas but if we talk about installation L.O.T are much expensive than V.O.T.

2 TYPES OF MANIFOLD SYSTEMS WE HAVE

L.O.T. (LIQUID OFF TAKE) GAS PIPELINE SYSTEM

This type of manifold system if we talk by the name we understand that the liquid is drawn out of cyclinder as and when valve of the cyclinder is pressed, LOT Cylinder have valve at the bottom section/ liquid region of the cyclinder so the liquid gas which is present at the bottom part of the cyclinder as you can see in the image mentioned below

• The natural vapour rate of a lot cyclinder is 4kg/hr
• L.O.T. cylinders are available in the capacity of 47 kg & 425 kg
• Almost all gas agencies supplies L.O.T. cyclinders all over india

Conventional cylinders liquid gas is drawn out of the cyclinder as and when valve of the cyclinder is pressed, that’s the reason why they are called LIQUID OFF TAKE or (L.O.T.) cyclinders as can be seen in the above picture that valve of the cyclinder goes down to the liquid region of it & the natural rate of the LOT cyclinder 4 kg per hour so the liquid gas which is coming out of the cyclinder goes to a vaporiser as shown in the image below

So the vaporiser converts the liquid gas to a vapour which goes to filter and shutoff valves to gas burner

V.O.T. (VAPOUR OFF TAKE) GAS PIPELINE SYSTEM

This type of manifold system if we talk by the name we understand that the vapour is drawn out of cyclinder as and when valve of the cyclinder is pressed, VOT Cylinder have valve at the top section/ vapour region of the cyclinder so the vapour gas which is present at the upper part of the cyclinder as you can see in the image mentioned below

• The natural vapour rate of a lot cyclinder is 0.5 to 0.7 kg/hr
• L.O.T. cylinders are available in the capacity of 14 kg , 19 kg & 47 kg
• All gas agencies supplies V.O.T. cyclinders all over india weather if it is for domestic purpose or commercial

Conventional cylinders vapour gas is drawn out of the cyclinder as and when valve of the cyclinder is pressed, that’s the reason why they are called VAPOUR OFF TAKE or (V.O.T.) cyclinders as can be seen in the above picture that valve of the cyclinder is at the vapour region of the cyclinder & the natural rate of the LOT cyclinder 0.5 – 0.7 kg per hour so the vapour gas which is coming out of the cyclinder goes directly to the gas filter then high pressure regulator which regulates the pressure of the gas and it connects with the slam shut off valve and then it goes to the burner
